On June 12, 2010 both professional and lay carpenters built the stage extension inside the Topia Arts Center’s new performance space. The show was a percussive symphony of construction sounds with the carpenters shaking bags of nails, hammering, drilling and performing a variety of choreographed sonic events to a live audience. During the show Lara Gonzalez & Yael Shacham of Marafanyi ¬†performed on a drumset assembled by Bill Chapman with kids from found objects.
